GameGuideReviews is an independent website made by players, for players. We focus on mobile games — the new releases everyone is talking about and the long-running favourites you keep coming back to — and we try to answer the questions new players actually have: Is this game worth my time? How do I get started? Which codes still work?
What we cover
- Reviews — hands-on reviews that look at gameplay, progression, monetization, performance on real phones and how the game treats free-to-play players.
- Guides & tips — beginner guides, tier lists, team builds, resource management and step-by-step walkthroughs for the parts of a game that trip people up.
- Redeem codes — regularly checked lists of active gift codes, with clear instructions on how and where to redeem them.
- News — launches, major updates, events and limited-time rewards worth knowing about.
How we review games
Every review is based on time spent playing the game ourselves — not on press releases or store descriptions. We play long enough to see the early game, the mid-game grind and the moment the game starts asking for money, because that is where many mobile games change.
Reviews in our Reviews section carry a score on a 10-point scale (in half-point steps):

| 8 – 8.5 | Great | Excellent, with only minor issues. |
| 7 – 7.5 | Good | Worth playing if the genre is your thing. |
| 6 – 6.5 | Okay | Fun in places, but with clear weaknesses. |
| 5 – 5.5 | Mediocre | Hard to recommend over the alternatives. |
| Below 5 | Poor to Unbearable | Serious problems with design, fairness or stability. |
Each review ends with a short verdict and a list of pros and cons, so you can decide quickly. Games change after updates — when a game changes significantly, we update the review and the date at the top of the page.
How we keep redeem codes up to date
Codes come from official sources: developers' social channels, in-game announcements, livestreams and community events. We test codes where we can, mark expired ones and remove them from the active list. Codes can still expire without notice or be limited to certain regions or servers — if a code does not work for you, let us know and we will check it.

GameGuideReviews is supported by advertising. Advertisers and game developers have no influence on our scores, verdicts or guides, and we do not accept payment for reviews. If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be clearly labelled as such. We are not affiliated with the developers or publishers of the games we cover; game names, logos and artwork belong to their respective owners.
Corrections
We work hard to get things right, but games move fast. If you spot an error, an outdated tip or a code that no longer works, please tell us through our contact page. We review every report and correct mistakes as quickly as we can.
